Hi everyone! It’s Elodie back on the blog with a new Pink Paislee project. Today, I’d like to share a fall layout using the beautiful Pick-Me-Up collection and a photo of my youngest girl playing with the leaves in our garden a few years back. So sweet!
To make my layout look soft and airy, I went with pink and white supplies and I used a black & white photo. I started by looking for a background and settled on the light Paper 19. I love those pretty frames!
My idea for this page was to frame my sweet autumn picture with leaves that I drew and cut in a couple of pink papers from the Pick-Me-Up 6×6 paper pad. I hand stitched the center of the leaves with white thread for extra detail and texture. I also adorned them with gold and pink sequins from the Auburn Lane mixed embellishment pack to add a bit of shine to my layout.
I bent up my paper leaves for dimension and arranged them diagonally on the background paper. I then sprinkled the page with droplets of black ink to echo my black & white photo. Once dry, I adorned some of the background frames with pink and purple Pick-Me-Up stickers and die cuts.
For my title, I used pretty Pick-Me-Up mini foam Thickers that I scattered on the paper leaves. I finished my fall page by embellishing some leaves with cardstock stickers and cute buttons from the haberdashery pack.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you are inspired to use the Pick-Me-Up collection on your next fall project!
