Do What Makes Your Soul Happy Layout

How about a scrapbook layout made entirely with patterned paper? With the gorgeous Whimsical collection you can! @enzamg @pinkpaislee #pinkpaislee #ppwhimsical #cutfiles #fall

Hello, PP fans. I am sooooo excited to share my very first layout with the gorgeous Whimsical collection by Paige Evans. I know I say this about every Pink Paislee collection, but I am in love! The colors are vibrant, the patterns super fun, and can we talk about the flowers?!?! Aaaaaahhh… LOVE! Although I’m still waiting to get the full collection, I was eager to start creating with it. The layout I’m sharing today was entirely made with patterned papers, no stickers or other embellishments.

I started by choosing the colors for my background. I went with more subtle, fall-ish hues, just because it’s that time of the year :) One of the things I love about this collection is that it features a variety of colors, from subtle to more vibrant, perfect to document any season or event. Next, I used a cut file by Paige to create a huge cluster of leaf branches behind my photo. I varied their size for more movement and a more natural look.

Once I had my background ready, I fussy cut a frame from Paper 07 and a few tags and embellishments from the cut apart sheet (Paper 13). I layered those behind my photo, which I then mounted on foam adhesive for dimension.

My title also comes from Paper 13. I backed it with teal patterned paper to create more contrast and separate it from the background.

I also fussy cut sentiment banners from Paper 08 to place around the photo, as well as butterflies and some of the stunning flowers, that I arranged here and there for a tone-on-tone look.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you liked this layout, and will feel inspired to start creating with the gorgeous Whimsical collection!
