Hello, lovelies. Donna here with my latest project using the Little Adventurer collection. I love this sweet and adorable collection and I’m pretty sure I’m going to use it for my daughter’s baby photos again. First, let me show you how I used this collection to create a cute scrapbook layout of my daughter when she was just a few weeks old.
I actually changed the photo I used here and thought a black & white one would be better than the original I planned to use. I arranged everything first, thinking of how the elements will flow first in the layout. You will see this process in the video tutorial a bit later.
I started with Paper 02 (reverse) as the background. I trimmed the product strip and adhered it to the bottom. I splattered gold spray mist and diluted peach and white acrylic paints on the background. After the surface dried, I placed the photo over a doily and messy thread. I used foam tape to adhere the photo and doily for a bit of dimension. My daughter was actually sitting beside me while I was making this layout and she said I should put a crown on her head so that’s what I did… her input is really valuable since it’s her photo I’m using…. ha!
I added strips of papers and stickers to the bottom part and embellished the right bottom part as well to anchor the diagonal flow design.
Watch how I created this layout in this process video.
That’s all from me today! Thank you for dropping by and see you in my next post. Happy crafting!
