May Guest Designer | Ksenia Li

Hi everyone! My name is Ksenia Li, I live in Russia. You can find me on my FacebookInstagram, and YouTube.  I’m so happy to be a guest designer for Pink Paislee. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and I hope you like my projects!

IMG_4964I love to use backed cut files with dark backgrounds on my layouts, especially cut files by Paige Evans. All you need is to add white splatters, ephemera, and tangled thread to finish it off!

IMG_4949One of my favorite techniques is use of lots and lots of die cuts. The rainbow and tone-on-tone embellishments make the photo stand out.

IMG_4905Monochromatic textured projects always blow me away! It is a great tip to use pattern and change it the way you like it. For example, cut two patterned papers into squares, stitch them down, and create your own pattern.

IMG_4943This is not my usual style of card making (I prefer clean and simple cards), but playing with the ephemera die cuts and stickers in Horizon is full of fun, so I could not help myself from creating a layered card.

IMG_4990I fell in love with all those gorgeous washi tapes from the Horizon collection and want to use them as much as I could. Cards are a great format to create something colorful and unique you’ve never tried before.

I used plastic for first and last pages – I love the way the front page looks – it gives stability on the one hand and a tone of interest on the other hand.

Thanks so much for joining me today!
