Hey friends, today I’m sharing my mini album made using the new Indigo & Ivy collection. The collection is so soft and pretty, I really like it! When I got it a few weeks ago, I thought I’d immediately use it to create a mini album.
As a base for the album, I wanted something different to the usual rectangular shape (which I really love too though ). I decided to go through Paige’s cut files and chose this half flower cut file (284817) (I very slightly changed it). I cut it out two times normally and then cut it out 12 more times, but only the outlines.
I backed the two pieces that would make the cover and back with different papers from the collection. I used the colors in a rainbow order, so going from pink to blue. I then stitched around the borders with green thread. I also stitched together the other pieces two by two, making six pages.
I punched holes on the sides of every page and then combined them all using metal rings that I had spray painted. To complete the cover, I added the word ‘Bahamas’ using the foam Thickers from the collection and I also added an ephemera butterfly and stitched though it.
The inside of the album I decorated with pictures I took on the Bahamas and used a lot of the beautiful embellishments from the collection. Stickers, ephemera, enamel shapes, gold alphas, patterned papers, etc.
Here are all of the pages:
