Hello, Pink Paislee friends. It’s Donna here with a new scrapbook layout to share using the Horizon collection.
I’ve fussy cut these butterflies from one of the papers in the 12 x 12 paper pad ahead of time, knowing I would use them on a future project. When it was finally time to create this layout, I started by stitching on the pink solid paper found in the Designer Destination Project Pad. But before stitching, I trimmed off an inch first on two sides.
I love that this paper pad includes some solid papers to match the Horizon patterned papers. I stitched some straight lines using the photo placement as the starting point.
Then I adhered the butterflies on the stitches. I opted to embellish just a few to focus on the butterflies and stitches. Then I used a mixture of chipboard alpha stickers and puffy stickers to create my title. I journaled using a black pen at the bottom of the title. To create more depth, I tilted and used one more patterned paper to layer on top of another and curled the edges of the two top layers for a bit of interesting texture.
That’s all from me today and I hope this layout inspired you in some way. Thanks for dropping by and see you in my next post!
