Hello once again, lovely Pink Paislee readers. My last but not the least project this month on the Pink Paislee blog is a scrapbook layout using the newest collection, Indigo & Ivy.
The first thing I did when I received my Indigo & Ivy items was to segregate the papers that I would like to use as my base or background. This is one of those papers. I knew I wanted to make use of the lines as the basis of my layout design. And that’s what I actually did!
Fussy cutting is one of my fave basic techniques and I do this for my projects more often than not. There are a couple of papers in the 6 x6 paper pad that have some floral patterns and I fussy cut out to my heart’s content, no matter how small the patterns were.
Then I splattered some navy, gold, and white spray mists on the background paper before placing the photos, fussy cut florals, and other embellishments. I used foam tape to attach some of the fussy cut items to create depth. Then I added a sprinkle of sequins to finish the layout design.
Check out my video tutorial on the Pink Paislee YouTube channel for the process video of this layout.
I hope you liked my first project using the Indigo & Ivy collection. This is another beautiful collection from Pink Paislee you wouldn’t want to miss adding to your stash.
