Hello there. Enza here, and today I’m sharing a new layout featuring the amazing Indigo & Ivy collection. What caught my attention when I first received the collection was the huge pack of chipboard sentiment strips. The variety of colors and sizes makes them versatile and perfect for any project. I couldn’t wait to use them on my page. Here is what I came up with:
I started with one of my favorite patterned papers – the different shades of blue are gorgeous! I tried to pick sentiments that made sense for the photo I used and arranged them on the right side of the page, making sure to alternate colors and sizes.
I then added three die cut hearts from the Ephemera Pack. On the top and bottom ones, I added rub-on sentiments, while for the middle one I decided to just add a layer with a smaller heart and give it dimension with foam adhesive. I placed sequins, wood veneer flowers and hearts, and puffy heart stickers here and there around the sentiments. I also used more rub-ons for extra interest.
For the photo, I matted it with patterned paper and adhered it down with foam adhesive, but not before wrapping twine around the bottom portion if it. I used a frame on top of the photo – I thought it was pretty and also added an extra layer without covering the image too much. On the left side I created a cluster with flowers, butterflies, and another sentiment.
Again, I used rub-ons in several places to add details.
I love how this layout turned out and sure hope you feel inspired to create your next project with the gorgeous Indigo & Ivy collection.
