Hey there! Enza here to share my second layout featuring the lovely Indigo & Ivy collection. This time I went with soft, dreamy colors to document a photo taken during one of my daughter’s dance classes. When I think of ballet, I think of pink and delicate so the colors and patterns in this collection are perfect for it.
I had been wanting to use the Scalloped Heart cut file designed by Paige for the longest time and I’m so happy I did. I love how this layout turned out! I cut the heart from Paper 08 and used Paper 05 to back the background. Although the floral paper is a bit busy, I truly like the look of it. I think it adds extra interest and an artistic look.
Once that was ready, I added the photo. I placed one of the frames from the Ephemera Pack on top and arranged sentiments around it; some of them are stickers, others are die cuts and chipboard elements. Flowers came next – I created two clusters on opposite corners of the photo. Everything was adhered down with foam adhesive for dimension.
I added the title on the right side with blue Foam Alpha Thickers, following the curve of the cut file for a more natural transition. I also fussy cut many butterflies from Paper 03 and placed them on the same side.
Black paint splatters and sequins finished the layout.
It’s amazing how easy and fast it is to put a page together when you have the right collection to work with. It is versatile and unique with fun embellishments and sentiments. You need it in your stash!
Thank you for stopping by today! Have a great day!
