Floral Layout | Enza Gudor

Hello, PP friends. I have a new layout to share with you today featuring the gorgeous Indigo & Ivy collection. One of the techniques I enjoy and use often is fussy cutting. What I love about it is the ability to “rearrange” the different designs and display them in a new and unique way. The beautiful flowers on Paper 02 inspired this page:

I started by fussy cutting the whole patterned paper, as I wanted the flowers to be the main element on the layout. I then trimmed a 4.5 inch strip from Paper 12 and created a multilayer border on the right side with smaller strips of paper. I also roughed up the edges for more interest. I adhered the strip vertically on the background and disposed the flowers diagonally across the center. Foam dots are your best friends for arrangements like this, as they give you a more natural and flowy look.

Once that was ready, I created two more clusters on opposite sides of the page to balance the design.

I went with a photo that is a bit bigger than what I normally use. I felt like a smaller size would have gotten lost in between all the flowers. I layered ephemera pieces behind it and a few sentiment stickers, as well as paintbrush strokes rub-ons.

For the title, I used a sentiment that came in the Ephemera Pack. I popped it on foam dots and placed it in the lower portion of the photo. I also fussy cut butterflies from Paper 03 and arranged them around the photo as well. A few heart stickers and more sentiments finished the layout.

I love how this layout turned out. It’s feminine and soft, with that pop of blue that is just perfect. I hope you like it too and will feel inspired to create your next project with this beautiful collection.
