Sometimes we all need a bit of encouragement or “push”, especially when life gets too busy and complicated. For today’s project, I created two cards that would be perfect for family and friends who just need a little help relieving some of the stress that comes with decision-making. It can be a simple “follow your heart” sentiment or an invitation to relax, but it shows empathy and care, which can make a difference, don’t you think?
Both cards have a split background. I chose different patterned paper from the Indigo & Ivy collection for each and trimmed it to measure 4×2 5/8 inches. I like the idea of having two designs on each card; it makes it fun and adds variety.
The first card features several feathers from Paper 10.
I simply arranged the feathers in the center of the card and used foam dots to create dimension. I also fussy cut foliage from Paper 05 to fill in the empty spots. The “follow your heart” banner is part of Paper 01; I added puffy heart stickers on top of it to finish the card. Easy peasy.
The second card was also very easy to create:
This time I used two tags that I layered on top of each other. Again, I used foam tape to adhere them to the background. I then put down a banner and fussy cut flowers from Paper 02. I finished the title with Puffy Vinyl Alpha stickers, which brought in shine and brightness.
That’s all for today, friends. The Indigo & Ivy collection is perfect to create encouragement cards to give to family and friends. Thank you for stopping by!
