Hello friends my name is Adriana Alvarez (find me on Instagram) and I am elated to be guest designing for Pink Paislee. The Truly Grateful collection is exquisite and it put my creative brain into full gear. I hope you enjoy my unconventional but unique projects I made with this awesome collection. Just a note, all of my projects can easily be turned into interactive mini albums/layout – just add a picture!
Backpack: This adorable backpack can fit a tiny mini album in it and would make a great gift/keepsake. I tried my best to mimic a real backpack and even added seams, the two pink boarders. To make these seams I folded a strip of paper twice then sewed down the middle of it. I used a pencil to curve the paper so it would be more manageable to adhere on.
Vending Machine: Never be afraid to try something new! I free handed this vending machine and filled it up with some “chips”. To make a chip bag simply cut a rectangle strip, fill it up with cotton, and seal the ends.
Vintage Polaroid: Oh snap is right! The flower ephemera pack in this collection is a must. It made this vintage Polaroid camera way cuter. When layering these flowers, I like to add pop dots to them to add more dimension.
Banner: Banners are my all-time favorite. The layered butterfly and layered hearts are Paige Evans cut files. I used the sequins pack to add a little sparkle to every pennant. To adhere them down I used glue dots.
MemoryDex: MemoryDex cards are fun to gift to crafty friends. Especially when you can add a little gift inside. I added gussets to the bottom of this gable box, then glued the gussets to a MemoryDex bottom piece and voila you can now add cute things in it.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and seeing my guest designer projects created with Truly Grateful!
