Hello, PP friends. Enza here, and today I’m sharing a new layout using the gorgeous Truly Grateful collection. My goal for this layout was to incorporate as many papers as possible, and when I came across the Geometric Shape cut file designed by Paige, I thought it was perfect for what I had in mind. Here’s the layout:
I started by backing the cut file with a variety of patterned papers, trying to alternate colors and patterns, prints and more solid colors. I love the look of it; it’s fun and happy! Once finished, I chose a bold background to adhered it on – the white cardstock used for the cut file pops against all the other colors. I used foam adhesive to give it dimension.
For the photo, I opted to use a black & white one to tone down the page and make it more visible. I placed it in the center of the cut file and layered several embellishments behind it. I started with some journaling spots and continued on with fussy-cut elements from Paper 01, as well as tabs and stickers from the 6×12 sticker sheet. The thing I love the most about layering is the ability to incorporate embellishments of different texture and thickness for a unique and interesting look.
The cute trees and birds that come in the Ephemera Pack are adorable and the perfect addition to this whimsical layout! I added a banner in the top left corner of the photo, puffy stickers in the opposite corner, and the beautiful ombre title at the bottom. New, fun embellishments in this collection are the Epoxy Wood Buttons. They bring in lots of dimension and texture.
Three butterflies from the 6×12 sticker sheet and the date finished the layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I have given you some ideas for your next scrapbook page using the gorgeous Truly Grateful collection.
