Hello friends! It’s Kylie back on the blog with you today and I’m sharing another new layout created with the beautiful Truly Grateful collection. I really love creating with cut files and using white on white in my background. I find you can get a lot of texture in your design using this technique and is what I decided to work with today with bright bursts of color.
For my cut file I selected this gorgeous Flower Frame designed by Paige and cut it from white cardstock. I proceeded to back it with lots of bright papers from the collection, before backing the entire frame with more white cardstock. I really liked Paper 06 for its pink grid design and decided to use this as my background. Since I had backed my cut file with white cardstock, the pink background paper looked like a border piece.
I added in lots of extra flowers and leaves from the die cut pack over the top of my cut file. By using foam tape on some it created a great sense of dimension and height for my layout. My photo was printed twice and I layered them over each other before tucking in some blooms around it. A small title was below my images from the puffy phrase stickers.
From the epoxy stickers I added a sub title to the top opposite corner where I had also added a few more leaf and flower die cuts. All this color makes me so happy!
To finish off my layout I tore a small strip from the top edge. A strip of the lovely floral Paper 19 was added behind to add a little more color.
I have also filmed a short process video for you all to see, which shows exactly how my layout came together.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed seeing my layout and it gives you a little inspiration for your own creating.
