Hello there, friends! Enza here, and today I’m sharing a set of cards featuring the gorgeous Again & Again collection. The thought behind these cards was to use the same craft die to create two different looks. I chose a scalloped circle – concentric geometric shapes work best for this type of project.
For the first card I used the negative space of the die to create my background.
I started by trimming one piece of patterned paper and one of white cardstock to measure 4×5.25”. I then used one of the dies to cut a window in the center of the first paper, and a smaller die to do the same with the white cardstock. I layered one on top of the other and adhered both to the card base. I kept it simple here, but you could easily make this into a shaker card by closing the window with acetate and using foam adhesive to adhere the papers to the base before adding the sequins. Once the background was ready, I added fussy cut flowers on opposite sides of the scalloped circle and a sentiment. Star sequins finished the card.
For the second card I used the cut outs of the two circles to create a cluster.
After choosing the patterned paper for my base, I adhered the bigger circle towards the right side and trimmed the excess. I did the same with the white piece, and I also cut a third smaller circle from a different patterned paper to create an extra layer on top. I then embellished around it with fussy cut flowers, a sentiment, and the super fun owl. Three butterflies and star sequins finished the card.
I truly enjoyed making these cards. The colors are some of my favorites for this time of the year, and I love the ephemera pieces in the collection. Creating two different looks with the same set of dies is fun and easy; plus, nothing goes to waste!
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
