Ten Years Layout | Diane Williams

When you want to create a simple page, adding a statement title can really take it up a notch. I created this page using my favourite paper from the Again & Again collection and added a statement title using a cut file, some stickers, and these gorgeous woodgrain alphas!

To begin, I used Paper 11 from Again & Again and decided on a simple, centre-focused page. I added a little white gesso to the centre of the page to help everything stand out against the background. Once that was dry, I also used some white ink to add a few splatters to create texture.

I knew I was going to use a blackĀ & white photo so I created my own cut file to start my title. I made sure to create lots of overlapping in the letters so I could use multiple papers and add lots of colour. I added foam to the back of my cut file to add dimension and help it pop off the page.

The rest of the layout cam together really quickly! I created my title by combining my cut file word, then a sticker from the Cardstock Stickers, and finished the sentiment by creating the last word with the foam alpha stickers from the collection. They have a tiny pop of pink foam underneath the woodgrain layer which I just love.

To balance my large title, I created two more visual focal points but adding die cut flowers and floral stickers together on either side of my photo. Once I added my journalling and date stamp in a coordinating blue shade, my layout was done!

Here is a quick process to show how easily this page came together…
