Hey lovely friends, I’m back with two new super cute and colorful cards.
To start, I used white cardstock with the cut files. Then I traced the letters on different patterned papers and cut out all of the letters. I used two different techniques to back my cut files.
I backed the cut file that says “Hooray” in a traditional way, then I adhered it to my card base with foam squares to create dimension.
For the second cut file, I adhered the patterned paper letters on the card base first, using foam squares, and then I put the cut file on top. Since, I didn’t use the cut file as a guide to adhere the letters straight, some parts of the letters peek out off the sides and there are also some holes where the letters don’t back the whole part of the cut file. I hope you understand what I mean… I really love that technique, it looks a little bit more messy and interesting. What I did on this card too is put the colors in rainbow order.
As a base for both of my cards, I used patterned paper, cut 6×6 pieces, and adhered them on white cardstock, leaving a border. I stitched around the whole thing twice to give it a cool touch.
To embellish my cards I used puffy stickers, ephemera, fussy-cut bits, puffy letters, and cardstock stickers.
Cards like these are quickly made, super fun, and pretty and you can use them for every occasion. I really love how they turned out and I hope you like them too!
