Hi there, PP friends! Enza here and today I’m sharing a mini album created with the Accordion Mini Album with Tags cut file by Paige Evans. I love mini albums but sometimes I feel intimidated by them. Having to come up with an idea, selecting the photos to print, and choosing embellishments that fit can be overwhelming. Using cut files is a huge help. They give you the structure and are the perfect starting point, making it easy and faster to put it together. For this mini album, I mainly used Truly Grateful, with bits and pieces from Whimsical and Horizon.
The base of the mini album was cut from Paper 02 with its gorgeous multicolor checkered pattern. For the cover I combined fussy cut flowers with the lovely Thickers that spelled the title.
The cut file also comes with panels for both the inside of the cover and the pages in the accordion portion of the album. It was fun working on each individual panel which ended up looking like a mini layout on its own.
I kept the design pretty consistent, with one photo per spread and lots of embellishments.
I used sentiments from the Paige Evans #StickerBook as well as ephemera pieces from Truly Grateful and Horizon.
While putting together the accordion piece, I decided to only glue the sides and the bottom, leaving the top portion open so to create pockets. I fussy cut tags from Paper 01 in the Whimsical collection and decorated the back with more photos, embellishments, and journaling.
I finished the mini album with ribbon in coordinating colors and the beautiful tassel paper clips from Whimsical.
I love how this mini turned out and, I have to admit, it came together in no time thanks to the cut file I used. Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!
