Hello there, friends! I have a set of Halloween cards to share with you today. They feature a mix of Pink Paislee collections: Whimsical, Horizon, and Truly Grateful. Both cards measure 5×7 inches – they are a little bigger than my usual A2 size cards, but I wanted to have more space to showcase the super fun cut files I used.
I started by backing the letters with patterned paper from both the Whimsical and Horizon collections – it was the perfect combination to achieve the Halloween vibe I was going for. Before adhering the prepared piece down, I cut the Spiderweb Heart cut file in half and placed it behind it. This simple step added so much more interest to the card!
For the background, I simply sprayed textured white cardstock with black ink. I matted it with orange patterned paper and black cardstock before adhering the cut file on top with foam adhesive. Orange and black enamel dots from my stash finished the card.
Again, my background is textured white cardstock. This time, instead of spraying it with black ink, I just dropped a few splashes onto it. I backed the spiderweb with purple and green patterned paper from the Horizon collection, alternating the colors for a fun look. I then backed the Geometric 31 with orange patterned paper.
Once everything was adhered onto the background, I thought to add fussy cut flowers from Paper 15 in the Truly Grateful collection to the number. I like that it’s kind of unexpected and whimsical. Enamel dots added the final touch.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you liked these cards and will feel inspired to create super fun Halloween projects with your Pink Paislee collections.
