Hello lovely friends! It’s Kylie back with you all today to share some easy to make Christmas cards. Christmas?? I know, right?? This year sure has flown. I have to admit I am a huge Christmas fan and immediately fell in love with the Together For Christmas collection. In particular, I love the layered stickers with glitter and foil. They were my inspiration and starting point for my sketch design.
Using some card bases from my craft stash, I decided to work with papers from the project pad. It contained some gorgeous glitter papers and a fun sticker sheet. I used the red glitter paper to back each card before selecting a printed design to add over the top.
Using a metal die, I punched a tag to feature as a focal point on each card. These were added on an angle and with foam tape for extra height and dimension. I also distressed the edges a little for texture.
Lots of the lovely flower die cuts and stickers were tucked in behind each tag to add some layers to both. It was at this point I added one of the gorgeous layered stickers to each tag. How cute is that snow globe?? It was definitely a favorite. To finish I added white watercolor splashes to one of my cards with the darker tag.
So you can see exactly how my cards came together, I have also filmed a short process video-
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope my cards leave you feeling festive and inspired to create some of your own!
