Guest Designer | Conny Craig

Hey everybody! My name is Conny Craig and I’m so happy to be sharing a few projects with you today using the new Lucky Us collection! You can find me on Instagram, my blog, and YouTube. This collection is everything is the world of LOVE, a reminder that we are LUCKY to have each other for inspiration and much more! Hopefully, you love the projects I created using this bright and lovely collection. Let’s get started!

Since Pink Paislee created this collection for us to tell our love story, I created a 12×12 layout using a photo of me and my husband with the foil accent papers from the 12×12 paper pad to cut the flowers and the ampersand. I used the Queen and King cards to layer behind the photo. At the top right, I tore the paper and included the date night ticket with a bow, also with the foil accents. I then added “BETTER TOGETHER” to the top of the photo, which is from the 6 x 12 stickers, and the “LUCKY US” are the Alphas that came with the collection. For a few more details, I incorporated some puffy hearts and stamped out “I LOVE YOU” and the mini hearts around the layout.

Cards with large bows! All I did here was layer different papers, ephemera, and stickers to create a little interest using cut files and attaching some foam squares for dimension. Plus, I used some of the leftover hearts from the dice boxes. Perfect to give out to friends and loved ones!

Here I made dice boxes with an envelope mini album and personal little notes inside the individual envelops. What a cute little project to display on your desk! I created fun little clusters on the top of the boxes with stickers and ephemera, then added some foam squares for dimension. For the side hearts, I backed them with foam stickers to make them stand out (except for the one at the bottom). Ready for the curious ones to enjoy!

I am so guilty of having a bunch of alphas and not really using them. We all played this game as kids (and if you didn’t, here’s your chance): Fortune Teller! I used a 12×12 piece of paper to create this origami. Since this collection is so playful and it has cute phrases, this collection was PERFECT! If you don’t know how to fold one, you can find simple instructions online. There is even a Cut File in the Silhouette Store to help you! Here is the link.

You can create little to-go baggies with sweet treats or personal messages for that special someone. These were created using the collection, or you can get regular baggies and simply add personalized tags or clusters at the front or top!

Ooh La La Conny Craig… I’m tickled pink with your beautiful, posh and chic designs. Your choice and placement of color, patterns, textures and lettering really gives it the “WOW FACTOR!”

    Thank you for sharing.
