Hi everyone, my name is Andrea Lake and I am honored and beyond excited to be sharing the projects I created with the beautiful Together for Christmas collection as your Guest Designer this month. You can find me on instagram @andreamarvilla, Facebook, and YouTube. I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my family and making projects like these!
These 2×2” boxes cut with the Silhouette Cameo cutting machine are adorned with Together for Christmas Paper 05 (for the base), and Paper 12, embellishments, and number stickers to give each day its own allure. Inside, each box holds a unique and personal gift for our kids. Oh, the anticipation!
For the ornaments, I layered red and green patterned papers and embellishments within these transparent globes to give the ornaments depth and complexity. They are topped with American Crafts ribbon and a few bells. An additional gift box is made of leaf Paper 05 from the collection. We had so much fun hanging these on the tree.
Mini albums were definitely my favorite project to make this year. Of course, I had to make one for Christmas! This circular, ring-bound mini album holds memories with my loved ones as my little treasure. It stores away in a custom circular box made with Together for Christmas elements.
It was fun to play with highlighting the colors of this beautiful collection atop symmetrical tag bases. I mainly used the die cuts and embellishments for the finishing touches, as well as some coordinating American Crafts ribbon so the tags would have common elements but each have their own flair.
I’m a notebook and list person and so I made a smaller notebook to keep track of all my important lists of the season such as our memories and traditions, gifts for friends and family, projects, and all things Christmas. It keeps me organized and in the spirit of the season.
I hope these inspire you to create some beautiful projects– and memories – this holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!
