Teepee Desk Cards | Kylie Kingham

Hello friends! It’s Kylie here today with a fun set of cards to share. I am always looking for fun new ways to create cards and today’s project are Teepee Desk Cards. I have seen this style of card many times before but these are the first I have made in this style. I thought they would make the perfect desk card for someone special and have used the super adorable Lucky Us collection.

Teepee cards 1

To create each card I only used 3 pieces of cardstock from my stash, cut to 4×4″. They are scored diagonally through the centre and assembled together to form a teepee. I adhered mine permanently together as they are to be a desk card, however if you wanted to post them you could join them together with a velcro dot so that they could be opened out and flattened into an envelope.

Teepee Cards 2

I lined my teepee once it was together with some of the beautiful papers before adding some embellishments and phrase sentiments. What I love about these cards is you can have a different sentiment or message on each side. I used lots of the stickers and die cuts which were added with foam tape so that I could build layers and add dimension to my cards.

Teepee cards 4

Using a flower punch from my stash, I created pretty layered flowers to add to some of the sides. I centered each bloom with some of the glitter adhesive dots for a little sparkle. The leaves were created from cardstock I had on hand which matched the color scheme.

Teepee cards 3 (1)

I added puffy hearts and XO’s to anywhere that had open space or where it needed balance. Once completed they were so cute and both bursting with color!

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my cute teepee cards. Until next time!
