Love Floral Layout | Paige Evans

Hello everyone! I am so excited to share my first layout using the new Bloom Street collection!

First layout made with the new Bloom Street collection!

Check out this process video to see how the layout came together from start-to-finish:

To create this layout I started with the B-side of Paper 13 which is a large LOVE title made out of flowers. I was immediately inspired by this paper and knew I wanted to use it to create my very first layout with this brand new collection.

Then I grabbed a craft knife and carefully partially trimmed around almost every flower and leaf on the paper. It took about three hours to do this because it’s very fiddly, but I love the results!

After I had bent up all the flowers and leaves, I trimmed a piece of light blue cardstock to 11″ square and used it to back the layout. You can see the blue cardstock peeking out from underneath all the flowers and leaves.

I printed a photo at home, trimmed it leaving a white border for contrast, and added it inside the floral “O” because it’s a natural shaped frame and perfect place for a picture! I added a floral bouquet die cut next to the photo and created a subtitle on it to say “This Beautiful Girl” made from the Puffy Word Stickers, the die cut, and “girl” mini alpha stickers from the 4-Page Sticker Book.

Next I splashed watered down white acrylic paint across the layout and sprinkled on silver sequins from the Mixed Embellishments.

For a touch of texture and interest, I used a scalloped border punch on all the edges, backed it with a floral paper, and machine stitched in place.

I hope this page inspires you to pick up my new Bloom Street collection! I love documenting everyday moments with it as well as all-things-floral :)
