Hello Pink Paislee friends! Donna here back on the blog with my latest layout using the Bloom Street collection. For this layout, I used mostly the 12 x 12 paper pad.
I used the pink and white polka dot patterned paper as the background and trimmed two more patterned papers and distressed the edges before adhering to place. To add more colors and texture, I splattered watercolors onto the background.
Once the watercolors dried, I then placed the photo over a white doily and messy thread. I used some foam tape for dimension. I cut more striped papers, a bit smaller this time, and placed it beside the photo and the bottom right side of the layout.
I embellished with flower die cuts and stickers, using mounting foam tapes for dimension.
As you can see, I converted my photo into black & white because I thought it would stand out better over these wonderful colors. I just love the color palette in this new collection! It’s so springy and vibrant at the same time. It just gives a happy vibe!
That’s all from me today and I hope this layout inspires you to be creative and get crafty today. Watch the process video on the Pink Paislee YouTube channel to see how this layout came to be. Thanks for dropping by and see you in my next post!
