Hi friends, Lisa here and today I’m sharing this new layout with you!
For this layout, I used the new and super pretty 5th & Monaco collection. The beautiful and bright colors combined with the stylish black & white details, make this collection perfect to document your coolest summer photos.
So to start this layout, I went through all the patterned papers and gathered all the ones I wanted to use. I then chose one for my background and cut/ripped square and rectangular pieces of paper from all of the other ones. I used a ruler to rip the paper so that the edges would be automatically distressed and fuzzy.
I started laying down my papers, creating a grid design with three rows. I used foam to adhere my shapes to the background to make them stand out and to be able to add strips of paper to the sides. I cut a lot of strips, with different sizes, from the rest of my papers and added them to the sides of each square. I think this gives the design a really cool look.
I added my photo to one of the squares and used the gold photo corners on it. I LOVE photo corners. Then I went ahead and fussy-cut a lot of the pretty flowers from two of the patterned paper sheets, colored and black & white ones.
For my title, I absolutely wanted to use the Thickers from the collection. I love them, I think they’re so chic with the black and gold. But since I often want to have different fonts on my layouts, I also wrote the word “moment” on a pink paper, cut it out, adhered it to a darker pink paper and cut it out again. I added the title to the page and then started to adhere all my flowers.
I also used some of the pretty gems to add to the centers of the black & white flowers. I went through the embellishments and chose some stickers to finish the layout. I used butterflies and word stickers. Finally, I added white splatters to the page and I was done.
I hope you like the layout and are inspired to create a grid design using as many papers as possible! Thank you for stopping by, see you soon!
