Hello, Pink Paislee friends! It’s Donna here with a brand new project to share with you all using the 5th & Monaco collection.
If you know me, I always struggle with making cards. So I always think of ways how to make something really special every time I am assigned to cardmaking. For today, I decided to create cards with a very dimensional design. What better way to add dimension than rosettes!?
Mixing and matching the colorful and vibrant patterned papers in the 5th & Monaco collection was no hardship. What I struggled with was which one to use because I love them all! But I’ve settled with the woodgrain background and black background with polka dots.
Making the rosettes was the first thing I did. I cut a strip of about 2 inches of paper. I made two for each card.
Then I used a border punch for added texture. I fussy cut some of the butterflies from one of the papers and then I simply embellished the middle with the sequins from the same collection.
That’s all from me today and I hope you liked these cards as much I as do! Thank you for dropping by and see you in my next post. Have a happy and crafty day!
