Ania here with another installation of Take Five Friday.
Now, I’ve had these photos printed and ready for few months – ever since I shot this brides’ (who’s a scrappy friend of mine) wedding earlier this spring – but never really felt I had the right papers for them.
Now, Five Friday means – use five products only. Uh right.
Mine’s: patterned papers (from both the Parisan Anthology and the beautiful Sweetness collection), Stickers (from Sweetness & Old School (the alphas)), Artisan Elements, the insanely gorgeous brooch brads and flip notes (from Sweetness).
I decided to use quite a fair bit of glimmer-mist on the background in order to get the resist-pattern to really pop out. Just spray generously around the middle (I used Jazz Blue – and I wanted to leave the edges as-is), allow it to really dry and wipe over the pattern with a slightly damp towel and a light hand, to wash away the mist that’s upon the resist-pattern.
Mm look at this baby! Gorgeous – I guess this kind of Big Bling maybe isn’t for everyone, but uh, I love it! Also, the banner created from stickers?
I had to cut the edges of it when wrapping them around the thread, and it left me with these cute mini-hearts…what am a gal to do? Use it, ofcourse! 😀 Also, the doily was cut out from a patterned paper from the Sweetness-line. It had lots of hearts sticking out from it, one of which I cut out and used on the edge of the paper (see the other detail-image above). I’ve got lots of these hearts left, which will be nice and cute for cards and stuff, I think!
Thanks for looking and have a lovely weekend!
