I live in New Jersey with my husband and our 2 incredibly adorable sons.

Tanisha’s Designs For Pink Paislee (featuring the sweetness collection)

Seriously? 36?

We love how Tanisha took pieces of our patterned papers to create this amazing collage  / artsy style layout.  And..the stitching through those foam letters is A-mazing.

Waiting

All the “fussy cutting” on this layout has us staring and looking for more hidden pieces.  Love how she inked the corrugated butterflies and added them as a small detail throughout the page.

Valentine’s Candy & Card Set

What can we say?  we love the yellow and red color combination on this set.  We also adore how she added glitter to those foam letters – and using our clear card for the front flap….genius!

You Spin Me Round

As soon as I saw this card the song “you spin me right round baby right round” popped into my head!  This is SO CUTE!  The pinwheel straws and the metal badge center…*sigh* just too adorable!

Tanisha we just have to THANK YOU for putting us in the mood for Valentine’s Day in addition to inspiring us with your art.  I know you waited 12 LONG MONTHS to have your guest feature here on our blog and I can tell you that it was definitely worth the wait!

Get To Know Guest Artist Ronda Palazzari

Hi Everyone! My name is Ronda Palazzari, like the beach boy song…help me Rhonda…only “no h.” I currently live in the burbs of Denver, Colorado with my husband Andy and two teens.   I love all things crafty….. scrapping, cooking, knitting, sewing, interior decorating, and photography. I am addicted to chai teas, I love to travel, say “Shut Up,” “Totally,” “Dude,“ & “No Worries” way too much.  I am obsessed with colors & rainbow order, love to read books & sometimes reread my favorites.  I find that being a SAHM is one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs, I am always listening to music & I have a very eclectic taste, I love baking & the scent of vanilla, I am addicted to Project Runway, Top Chef, & America’s next top model.  I also love to sleep in late when I get the chance & am very much a night owl, and…I totally dislike writing bios because I sound so cheesy.

I like to call my style Uptown Antique Brie: a little class, a little vintage, and a lot of good cheese. I love the new, flashy stuff but have an appreciation for vintage items. I love to push the edge of products and use them in unconventional ways. Most of my layouts (if not all) are cheesy, scrapping the emotions and everyday moments. I love using bold colors and combining colors that surprise people.

Some of my proudest scrapbook moments are being a named a Memory Makers Master (2009), becoming part of the Crate Paper, Lilybee, Purple Onion, The Color Room, and Cocoa Daisy Design Teams.  I have had a love affair with Pink Paislee since the begging and am just so thrilled to be guest designing this month.  Father Christmas is a such a beautiful collection.

Ronda’s Designs For Pink Paislee

Seeing this project totally reminds me how great our Father Christmas collection looks with kraft paper…and our red glitter letters really pop off of the page.

Our Father Christmas ATC cards and Punchouts are perfect for building small clusters like these!

We love how Ronda added a little bit of Parisian Anthology ribbon on this layout.  It is so Shabby Chic it really goes with this page so perfectly!

I adore these handmade bows!  And that bark looks delish too!

Aren’t these little gift tins precious?  I bet big things do come in these little cuties.  Or if they are filled with M&M’s that is ok too…

Handmade Gift Bags

These projects are the perfect finish to our month long celebration for the holidays!  We are so happy to see that Ronda was able to use our Father Christmas collection to create so many different projects from gift bags, cards, bows to layouts!  She was able to incorporate these products into every aspect of her holiday creations! Gorgeous and inspiring all the way around and a sure gift to all of us.

Thank you Ronda for sharing your talents with all of this month!

Get To Know Guest Artist Becky Olsen

Hi!  My name is Becky Olsen, I live in Cottonwood Heights Utah and I am a craft-a-holic…

Thank goodness I have a very understanding husband, four fabulous kids (that are often the subjects of my craftiness), and a special room all to myself for all of the tools and goodies that enable my passion. I have been lucky to have lived a very creative life – from making clothes for my Barbie dolls as a young girl, keeping very important pieces of my teenage life in a magnetic album (gasp, the horror!!) to crocheting more blankets, hats and scarves than I can count. Making a layout from one of my favorite pictures or a card for a special occasion is often how I can be found exercising my creative muscles. Finding beautiful color combination’s, fantastic pattern pairings, delicious textures and elaborate dimensions on each new project makes me giddy with joy.

When I am not in my craft studio making a mess I am usually either playing tennis, on a long walk with my husband and dogs, or carpooling the kids.

I am so excited to have a chance to share my love for Pink Paislee and maybe inspire a few fellow craft-a-holics along the way. Many thanks to Rebecca and the Pink Paislee team for the opportunity to play with the stunning Parisian Anthology line.

Becky’s Designs For Pink Paislee (featuring the Parisian Anthology Collection)

What we are about to show you is an amazing display of versatility with our Parisian Anthology collection. When we asked Becky to create 3-4 projects for our blog we had no idea she would send back so many gorgeous creations to show off here today.  She completely outdid herself and as we reviewed her work we realized just how far she pushed these products!  Becky shows us just how fun and “inky” you can get with this collection while making them unique to her very own designs and creations!

We are going to start off with a mini album Becky created using the re-usable corrugated box that contains the Parisian Elements as her album container.  It will be impossible to see every page but we are going to show some highlights here for you!

Project #1 – A Hike To Remember

Tip: You can re-purpose and re-use the corrugated box from our Parisian Alphabets and Elements.

Tip:  Ink these papers and then die cut them into shapes like Becky did with these fall themed leaves.

The color combo in this entire album is breathtaking!

Loving how Becky used the Parisian Elements as accents throughout her entire album.

Project #2 – 19

This time Becky went with some cool tones to play off of her black and white photo.  We love how she added color behind the clear molds from the variety pack.

Project #3 – So Lucky

Becky really shows us how these papers come to life when you add inks and misting sprays!  Music notes, butterflies, text and more. Make them bold or soft….your choice!

Project #4 – There was this one time…

Well I have to admit…this is one of my favorite projects.  The inked circles that are stitched and placed on this page to create a background pattern just blows me away!   We are in awe of what she has created visually on this layout.

Tip:  Go ahead and ink the edges of the corrugated elements too!  They dry quick!

Project #5 – Feel Better Soon

Project #6 – Flower Fun!

Tip: Create Wearable art using the soft chiffon flowers from this collection.  Just add velcro to the back and position them on a headband!  Hmm….I wonder if she is selected that grey shirt just to match these gorgeous flowers???

Whew…I am on inspiration overload!  Becky….THANK YOU SO MUCH for designing with such passion and creativity for us this month.  We are delighted to feature your work here on the Pink Paislee blog.

Get To Know Guest Artist: Sue Mylde

Hello Pink Paislee fans!

October is a doubly exciting month for me because not only do I get to be Guest Designer here at the Pink Paislee HQ, but earlier this month our family welcomed a new baby boy! Baby Lucas is doing really well and now he’s making his debut on my scrapbooking pages using a fabulous mix of Pink Paislee’s Parisian Anthology and Sweetness Collections.

Just a little bit about me: I’m passionate about scrapbooking, reading, travelling and spending as much time as possible with my family of four. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two children, Lara and Lucas.

I’m always looking for ways to be creative and adding that bit of fun in our lives. Scrapbooking is my way of recording the precious memories and stories that we create in our daily lives and I’ve delighted myself in the role of storyteller of my family’s adventures. Our family has been blessed to have lived in different countries across the world including Canada, Norway and now Scotland – and our lives are colored by the cultures and traditions of the places we’ve been and the people we’ve met.

My scrapbooking style evolves constantly. I love trying different things, but I often go for elegance, simplicity, a bit of daring and a lot of fun. I currently serve on the design teams for Cocoa Daisy and The Studio.

Thank you so much to Rebecca and Pink Paislee for letting me create for them this month! It has been so much fun!

xoxo.Sue.

Get To Know Guest Artist Kim Arnold

Hi! My name is Kim Arnold.  I live in Wollongong, New South Wales (Australia) with my husband Gary and my son Benson.  It truly is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I started scrapbooking just over 5 years ago when my son was born.  My first project was his birth announcement cards.  I was so proud of them then, but now I look at them and think of what I could have done!

Before I started scrapping I was a quilter and could never understand the passion for scrapbooking – now 5 years on and I am obsessed!  I LOVE patterned papers and combining them to create my own little pieces of art.  Scrapbooking to me is a wonderful combination of creative release and memory recording.  I do something scrapbook related most days.  I also enjoy reading, going to the gym, eating out, spending time swimming at the beach and playing in the park with my son.  I do not enjoy housework – but I do that too!  I am lucky to work part time which gives me time to be with my family and also have time to scrapbook.

I am blessed to currently be serving on amazing design teams for American Crafts, Jillibean Soup, GCD Studios, Inspired Blueprints (an online sketch challenge site), Scrap the Boys (an online challenge site) and Storyboard Kits.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Pink Paislee.

Kim’s Designs For Pink Paislee (featuring the Sweetness Collection)

I Never Knew

Those glitter element stickers are so cute!

The yellow glitter alpha is also one of my new faves!

So Happy To See Her

These cute metal badges are stickers which makes them super easy to use!

These kraft alphabet stickers are perfect for this line and will match any paper perfectly!

My Favourites

The metal adornment frames are so thin they can be added to layouts and cards easily!

pre printed and die cut banner stickers are so much fun and they are all the rage right now!

Sweet 3

I already love these papers but cutting up the smaller 6×6 sheets into squares was fun too.

Thank You Kim!

We are completely blown away by your designs.  You have shown off this Sweetness collection more than we could have ever asked for.  The layouts are completely stunning.  Thank you so much for inspiring us today.
