Everything Goes – Stash It

How about a  fun new challenge for the month of March kicking off  with “Stash It” – pull out some of your older Pink Paislee Collections for a fresh new look,  mix it up and see what you can create using some of the new ideas and inspirations currently being used today.

I have used several different collections to create my project “Made with Love” and it was so much fun looking through all my Pink Paislee products to see what I could come up with, I mixed some old with new to get the look I wanted.

All the collections I used are listed below, along with come cute Pink Paislee stamps which I have not used for awhile.

To make sure all my pattern papers mixed in well with my project I created strips from the different pattern papers and then blended them with embellishments of cut out flowers, tags and stamping.

Here you can see more detail and how I layered my stamped images, by stamping out 3 different pattern paper colors and then layered them over each other with foam tape, makes a cute embellishment.

Clusters of cut out flowers from different Collections can work really well if you use a common color, in this project it was red in different shades.

I also used the Sweetness Clear Cards which I transformed into a frame by cutting out the middle of the frame and then I layered it  over  my photo with foam tape.

I created my heading from tags in the “Cupid Collection” and added extra detail with the Artisan Element Swirls and Sweetness Glitter Stickers.

So alot of mixing and matching going on in this project with lots of different collections, which all work really well together when you add different elements and embellishing………..

I wonder what you can come up with.

Here are all the products I used:

Cupid Bow and Arrow pattern paper
Cupid Hearts Bloom pattern paper
Cupid Postcards pattern paper

Amber Road Autumn Bloom pattern paper
Amber Road Boomfire pattern paper

Old School Members Only Diecut
Parisian Anthology Ruffled Darling Ribbon
Sweetness Clear Cards

Sweetness Glitter Stickers
Artisan Elements Swirls
Spring Fling Clear Stamps

Titles and Tips Tuesday

Welcome on Tuesday, Karola here!

Tuesday is the day on which we have theme: “Titles, Technique, Tips” so today I would like to show you how we can make creative title use letters from different sets and combine it with all other embellies.

My Lo tells the story about my daughter’s first funny drawings. She was 13 months and very fascinated by the drawing!

The title is in Polish: “rysowanki,” which in English means “free drawing” = funny, irrepressible, free hand drawing. I wanted made a fun title also.

I used here the letters from the sets: Expressions Weathered Wood – Cotton and Glitter Alphabets – Berry Blue, but between the letters I added Queen Bee cork buttons to create “a” letter and the dot over the letter “i”. Additional brads (Cupid Bella Brads) and cutouts from Queen Bee – Honey Bee paper added dimension and interesting look. Cork buttons and circles from Cupid – Hearts Bloom paper – also appeared at various places on the layout – I love little details and circles, so I decided to decorate my page in this way.

I encourage you to try to play with various embellies when you create titles – not only cork buttons, can be used also brads, pieces of paper, ribbons or anything that will tell your imagination!

Thank you for looking and have a great day!

Heart shaped Box

Hi all! Malin here, doing my first post for Pink Paislee I’m so excited about being here together with all these amazing designers!!  I hope i can inspire you today with a heart shaped box made with the Cupid Collection and with products from the brand new 365 degrees collection.

Valentines day is coming up soon and i made this for a friend who actually is proposing to her boyfriend that day (schhh its a secret for now) ;)
I started to paint the box with crackle paint and i covered the lid with this paper and decorated it with press-ons also from the Cupid collection.
The flower is made from several punched out circles that i attached together with the 365 Degrees bella brad and then cut around it to make the petals, scrunched it up a bit to give it texture.  Around the lid I added one of my own new favorite products the ribbon pleats; it gives such great texture to any project!

I finished it of with a die cut  from the 365 degrees punchout tags, added some text from the press ons and the beautiful Bella Brads again.

Around the bottom of my heart i used the Borderline Clear Stickers from the cupid collection and voila it was done! Now all I’m hoping for is that she will get a yes from her boyfriend!
Have great Tuesday everyone
