Get Sketchy {Summer}

It’s sketch time!  I love sketches!  Here is this month’s Page Maps sketch.

And here is my take.

Because of the back lighting in the photo, no two photos looked similar, so I used the same photo.  In photoshop I flipped the same image and printed them out.  Just a fun take on using photos.

I had so much fun with this sketch.  I hope you give it a try as well.  I would love to see what you create so be sure to link back to this post and upload it to the Pink Paislee Gallery.

Sundays Sketches – inspiration for an entire album!

Hello everyone!

Karola here and today we have a Sunday Sketch theme, so I have a sketch for you! No, no one sketch… I have a whole album of sketches!

Some time ago I decided to  create a mini album with photos of Rose, who spent a fantastic time during our little trip to the Santok, full of beautiful nature, she floated on the boat, she tried to go fishing and played with dog.  These wonderful pictures perfectly fit the Starlight collection and collection to fit into the album from Artisan line – I chose the album 6 x 6 Blue.

I thought that sometimes the pictures do not require extensive, rich decoration, so I created very easy, quick and simple album and during the creation of thought that it would always have some wonderful sketches that would help in the creation of individual pages. So I decided to make such sketches for you – I hope you find it useful, especially for those, who have a problem with creating a layout for each page in the album. I hope that the whole album can be an inspiration for beginners, but not limited to – sometimes we don’t have too much time and really want to have an album here and now, or create a simple gift for someone from family or friends. In this type of album, use only one collection – I’ve used a few sheets from Starlight collection and Starlight element stickers and alphabet stickers. I added also Expressions Weathered Wood – Denim on the cover.

Thus, the album is quick, simple but also inexpensive, because we don’t need a lot of embellies.

Thank you so much for stopping by to Pink Paislee blog today and wish you a wonderful, inspiring Sunday!
